ArtXChanges is created by Rob Bangert from the Netherlands, Helena Rüegg and Anne-Marie Roth from Switzerland. The three of them possess an extensive international network of professionals in the arts. Leveraging their broad international experience, they have established ArtXChanges.
ArtXchanges believes that art connects, rejuvenates, transforms, explores, innovates, and moves us, among other things. Central to ArtXChanges is the idea of connection in any form, as it serves as the foundation for other intrinsic qualities of art. Guided by this vision, the primary objective of ArtXChanges is to organize, facilitate, and orchestrate encounters between artists, as well as between specialized educators. The foundation places an emphasis on projects using various forms of Art for the purpose of social transformation, strengthening collaboration, promoting inclusion and civic engagement.
It’s often challenging for professionals in the field of Art to connect with international peers, as most summer seminars and gatherings are primarily aimed at amateurs. We believe it is imperative that professionals also have the opportunity to interact in a relaxed atmosphere.
The focus of our inspiration week is the exchange of expertise and experiences. We encourage each participant to share insights about their respective fields, including the structures and career opportunities in their home countries or places of residence.
We are expecting colleagues from all over Europe making the summer week a truly international assembly. While discussing our respective professions will be stimulating, we also warmly welcome practical applications on-site, such as singing, playing music, dancing, or acting—either collectively or in smaller groups—although this is not obligatory
